Being the president and founding member of this club in UC Merced, my team and me were successfully at gathering 50+ active memberships. We plan and execute cultural events like Holi (Festival of colors), Diwali (Festival of Light) and Garba (Annual dance event) for all undergrads, grads, faculty and staff. We host freshers events for incoming students. Previously, I made airport pick-ups for incoming students. My team and I have successfully secured 2000$ + funding from various campus resources. Through the club connections, we now organize student lunches, panel discussions, mentorship meet ups and other events which in turn creates a family away from family experience to all our members. It has been an immense learning experience in leadership roles and mentorship.
